The League of Women Voters would like to commend the Wood County Board of Elections (BOE) for their
efficient and courteous attention to the needs of the voters in a strong bi-partisan manner.
As one example, the position of Director of the BOE rotates between the two major political parties every
2 years and a high level of cooperation has been a long- standing tradition.
A major goal of the LWVBG is to provide non-partisan information to help inform the voter by way of the
Voter Guide and Candidate Forums.
The assistance we receive from the BOE in this endeavor is generously and professionally provided.
The citizens of Wood County are very fortunate to have this high level of service from its BOE.
