DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Police in southwestern Ohio say a woman who was apparently attacked by two large dogs
has died.
Assistant
Chief Bob Chabali (sha-BAH’-lee) of the Dayton police says officers
responded to a call Friday morning about a person on a sidewalk. He says
officers were forced to shoot the dogs when they advanced toward
police.
Chabali says police were told that the dogs belonged to
residents of a neighboring home. He says a man and a woman from that
home were taken to the police station for questioning.
Chabali
says police had received previous complaints about the dogs being at
large at times. He says he is not sure of the dogs’ breed.
Police have not released the name of the woman who died.
