MASON, Ohio (AP) — An overnight fire at a condo in southwest Ohio has killed a man.

The fire in Mason was reported around 2 a.m. with police officers saying flames were shooting from the unit when they arrived.

WLWT-TV of Cincinnati reports Monday (http://bit.ly/1d31SPn) that an investigator has been called in to determine the cause.

The station says officers evacuated several neighboring units to be sure no one else was injured.

Police say the victim lived alone.
