EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) — Police in northeast Ohio have released more information about the 2-year-old boy who died after falling 17 floors from the window of an apartment building.

East Cleveland Police Chief Ralph Spotts tells the Northeast Ohio Media Group (http://bit.ly/1hxxoGx ) that Alijah Glenn was playing with his 3-year-old brother at their grandmother's apartment Monday when Alijah tripped over a leather chest and crashed through a floor-to-ceiling window.

Spotts said it was an accident, and no charges will be filed.

The county coroner's office agreed it was accidental. The report said Alijah died as the result from the blunt impact to his trunk, as well as skeletal and internal injuries.

Reports said the grandmother went into a bedroom to talk on the phone and then heard glass crashing.
