Ohio base ranked highly by Air Force newspaper

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — A newspaper serving U.S. Air Force personnel has ranked Wright-Patterson Air Force
Base near Dayton as one of the best places in the country to be stationed.
The base, which is Ohio’s largest single-site employer, tied as the top Air Force base to be stationed
among 68 bases in the U.S. That’s according to a survey by the weekly Air Force Times newspaper, which
made the rankings based on a dozen categories.
Wright-Patterson tied for the top spot with Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
The Dayton Daily News (http://bit.ly/1mDTbMu ) reports that the rankings took into account factors
including school quality, cost of living, housing costs and size of the community.
