HASTINGS, Mich. (AP) — Authorities in western Michigan say a woman swiped an ambulance while its crew was picking up a patient.
According to Barry County sheriff's Sgt. Nick Seifert, deputies stopped the LifeCare ambulance at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday.
MLive.com reports (http://bit.ly/1aYaAg9 ) a 53-year-old woman who told officers she wanted to "get home to Southfield" was arrested and turned over to Battle Creek police.
The woman was alone in the ambulance. Seifert says she didn't appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of her arrest.
