Michigan authorities: Woman took off in ambulance

HASTINGS, Mich. (AP) — Authorities in western Michigan say a woman swiped an ambulance while
its crew was picking up a patient.According to Barry County sheriff’s Sgt. Nick Seifert, deputies
stopped the LifeCare ambulance at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday.MLive.com reports (http://bit.ly/1aYaAg9 ) a 53-year-old woman who told
officers she wanted to "get home toSouthfield" was arrested and turned over to Battle Creek
police.Thewoman was alone in the ambulance. Seifert says she didn’t appear to beunder the influence of
