Fans donate to fix car damaged by unruly MSU crowds

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A Michigan State Universitystudent has raised more than $3,000 to help
pay for damage done to astranger’s car by rowdy Spartan fans after the school’s football teamstunned Ohio
State in the Big Ten Championship game.WXYZ-TV (http://bit.ly/1cx8BAN ) reports that senior Karen Wood
started a fundraising page after aFacebook feed showed the car flipped on its roof in East Lansing.More than
300 people helped Wood exceed her goal. The money will be used to help replace the car which was
totaled.Police say a dozen Michigan State students were among at least 15 people arrested following Saturday
night’s game.At least 57 fires were set. Police are offering up to $20,000 for tips that lead to
