Troy M. Caudill, age 59, of Walbridge, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, in Hospice of Northwest
Ohio, Perrysburg.
He was born on May 2, 1954, in Paintsville, KY. to Freddie and Martha (Blair) Caudill. On October 15,
1972, Troy married the love of his life the former Elsa Endicott.
Troy was employed as a Tech Service Rep with Material Science Corp.
He was a member of Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church in Luckey, where he served as Clerk and Treasurer.
Troy was very active in the Lake Township Fire Department Station 1, where he was a retired Engineer. He
also served as 2nd Vice President on the Board of Directors for Glass City Federal Credit Union.
Troy was a very passionate and caring person, who lived his life to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Elsa; beautiful daughter, Amy (Eric) Crofts; grandchildren,
Ally and Adam Crofts; mother, Martha Caudill; siblings, Roy (Sandy) Caudill, Keith (Donna) Caudill,
Polly (Prentice) Salyer, Janie Plummer, Saundra (Dave) Pfouts; and many loving nieces and nephews. Troy
was also a special "brother" to all of Elsa’s siblings.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, (419-666-3121) on
Sunday, January 12, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday, January 13, 2014, from 2-8 p.m., where the Lake
Township Fire Department will conduct a last call service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on
Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
