Shirley Jane (Greulich) Hanley (nee Bisbee), age 66, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, formerly of Wayne, Ohio,
passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday (March 11, 2014) in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
She was born on June 30, 1947 in Wayne, Ohio to the late Donald and Nancy (Smith) Bisbee. Shirley married
Floyd J. Greulich in 1966 and lived in Bradner, Ohio until his death in May 1995. She then married Jack
Hanley of Salineville, Ohio and moved to Florida where they lived until his death in 2004.
Shirley is survived by her son, Ron (Tara) Greulich of Constantine, Michigan; grandson, Devon; sister,
Donna (Mike) Adam of Naples, Florida; brothers, Dave (Millie) Bisbee of Dahlonega, Georgia, Ted (Sharon)
Bisbee of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Harley (Becky) Bisbee of Sarasota, Florida; special companion, Ron Lovett
of Mount Vernon, Ohio; loving family, Lori (Eileen Woods) Baker of Oceanside, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Nancy; brother, Larry Bisbee of Naples, Florida;
husbands, Floyd Greulich, and Jack Hanley.
Shirley was a 1965 graduate of Elmwood High School, and then worked for many years at Capital Plastics in
Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was very involved in her local union. Shirley was a member of South Vernon United Methodist Church in
Mount Vernon, Ohio and was filled with tremendous joy working with the church’s After School Program.
She always had a smile on her face and was a gentle loving soul.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday (March 16, 2014) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio,
where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday (March 17, 2014) at 11 a.m., with Pastor
Robert Alexander officiating.
Burial will be in Graham Cemetery near Wayne, Ohio.
Donations in memory of Shirley Hanley can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or the
South Vernon United Methodist Church (Mount Vernon, Ohio) After School Program.

There will also be a Memorial Celebration of Life Service in Mount Vernon, Ohio on Tuesday (March 18,
2014) at 11:30 a.m. at the South Vernon United Methodist Church with Pastor Robert Alexander
