Ruth Ann Zeigler-Green

Ruth Ann Zeigler-Green, 65, of Weston, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, surrounded by her
loving family.
Ruth was born in Bowling Green, Ohio, to the late Harry and Josephine (Sweet) Zeigler. She married Robert
Green on December 31, 2004 in the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Bowling Green, Ohio and he survives her in
Weston, Ohio.
Along with her husband Robert, Ruth is survived by her beloved daughter: Julie (Tim) Naftzger, of
Bloomdale, Ohio; stepson: Rob (Gentry) Green, of Bowling Green, Ohio; grandchildren: Brianna Heinze,
Alicen Naftzger and Peyton Green; sisters: Sandy (Doug) Kerr, of Rudolph, Ohio, Mary Lou Folk, of North
Baltimore, Ohio; a sister-in-law: Nancy Zeigler, of Bowling Green, Ohio; along with several nieces and
nephews who loved and adored Ruth very much.
Along with her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her brother: Don Zeigler (2012).
Ruth was a 1967 graduate of Bowling Green High School. After high school, Ruth went on to receive her
cosmetology license from the Findlay Academy of Beauty.
Ruth later became the Administrative Assistant for the Blakely Care Center now known as the Bowling Green
Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio until her retirement.
Ruth was a volunteer for the Big Brothers/Big Sister Foundation and also was a past member of the Bowling
Green Eagles. Ruth enjoyed cooking, bowling, watching Nascar and especially loved playing golf.
Ruth’s family was very important to her. Ruth was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.
She was a wonderful person and will be missed by her loving family and friends.
Visitation for Ruth will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the time of her Memorial
Service at 3 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster Street/P.O. Box
648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, Tele: 419-352-2171.
Interment will follow the Memorial Service in the Wingston Cemetery in Liberty Township.
Memorial contributions in Ruth’s honor may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 River Road,
Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
