Rosemary A. Meade, age 93, of Perrysburg, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice in
Sylvania.
She was born on January 20, 1920 in Toledo to Fred and Lucille (Hebner) Gantz.
Rosemary worked for over 20 years in the dietician department at Wood County Hospital.
She enjoyed fishing and taking care of all of her dogs from over the years. She loved spending time with
her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family will remember her for her spunky personality and
great sense of humor.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Ruth Underwood; daughter-in-law, Sharon Meade; grandchildren,
Andrea, Bernie, Babette, Chris, Doug, David, Milissa, Michelle and Bill; many great-grandchildren;
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Meade Sr.; daughters, Sheila
and Andrea; and son, George.
The family will receive guests on Friday, January 17, 2014 from noon to 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home,
4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial services will begin in the funeral home at 2 p.m.
