Peggy Ann Smith, age 66, of North Baltimore died at 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014.
She was born on April 14, 1947 in Hamler to the late Charles A. and Helen M. (Fackler) Newell. On June
23, 1986 she married Floyd J. Smith and he survives along with her four daughters; Brenda Eaken of North
Baltimore, Peggy Hosler of Findlay, Cindy Hosler of North Baltimore and Carmen (George) Loy of Tiffin.
Peggy is also survived by three brothers; Charles, Ronnie and Ozzy Newell, two sisters; Carolynn Henry,
Linda Smart, two stepdaughters; Tammy and Penny Smith, 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Hosler.
Peggy retired from Norbalt Rubber after 36 years of service.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, baking and spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME
in North Baltimore. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, with
Pastor Jon Rhinehart officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery.
