Paul Blake, 87, of Findlay and formerly of North Baltimore, passed awayat 4:45 p.m. on Monday,
December 9, 2013 at Grand Court, Findlay.He was born on October 20, 1926, in North Baltimore, to the late
Jamesand Pearl (Bland) Blake. He married Nina J. Wohlgamuth on May 27, 1950,and she preceded him in death on
January 9, 2004.Paul is survived by his sons: Larry J. (Deborah) Blake of Findlay andRobert S. (Bonnie)
Blake of Carmel, IN; his daughters: Nancy Medley ofFindlay and Cathy (Blair) Basye of Naples, FL; his
brothers: Bob(Stella) Blake of North Baltimore and Frank Blake of Findlay; hissister, Ruth Gonyer of North
Baltimore; his grandchildren: Chad Blake,Erin Reed, Nicholas Blake, Matthew Blake, Morgan Young, Blake Basye
andAndrew Blake; his great-grandchildren: Blake Reed, Greyson Reed, KylanBlake, Dylan Young and Colton
Young.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Ann Blake; hisbrothers: John, Ernest, Woodrow, Carl,
Bill, and Tuffy Blake; hissisters: Betty Courtney, Evelyn Basil and Edith Dennis.Paul was a retired Truck
Driver for Commercial Motor Freight.He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served our country in World War
II.Paul was a member of the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles
#2633.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013,at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME,
North Baltimore, with Reverend SusanKronbach officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery,
NorthBaltimore, where full military rites will be conducted by the NorthBaltimore American Legion Post
539.Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North
