Nancy R. Case

Nancy R. Case, 83, of Findlay, passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Bridge Hospice
Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on January 7, 1931, to the late George and Flossie (Hodgman) Roe Sr. in Weston, OH. She
married Boyd D. Case on August 8, 1954, and he preceded her in death on June 21, 2013.
Nancy is survived by her son, Timothy (Carol) Case of Loveland, OH; daughters: Lori (Donald) Robinson of
Katy, TX and Amy (Michael) Fingerhuth of Ellicott City, MD. Also surviving is a sister, Helen Welsh of
Richmond, Virginia. She has eight grandchildren, Douglas, Donny and Bethany Robinson; Ryan, Logan and
Devin Fingerhuth; Zachary and Jeremy Case and one great-grandson, Josiah Robinson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Ruth Case; two brothers, George and Loren; and five
sisters, Margaret, June, Dorothy, Jean and Mary Ann.
Nancy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education at BGSU and was a member of St. Andrew’s
United Methodist Church.
Nancy was employed through the years by the Wood County Schools, and in the offices at Patterson’s Dept.
Store and CWC Companies. She also volunteered at the gift shop and the Nearly New Shop at Blanchard
Valley Hospital.
She was a member of the Rebecca Ruth’s Circle and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her greatest joy was
being a wife, mother and grandmother and she also enjoyed working, traveling and reading.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME,
Findlay.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Findlay, where
visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Pastor Larry Kreps will officiate.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, OH.
Memorials may be made to St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church or to Cancer Patient Services in her
memory.
