Mildred "Midge" Bush
February 26, 1926 – April 8, 2014
Mildred "Midge" Bush, 88, of Custar, Ohio, died Tuesday morning, April 8, 2014 at Wood County
Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 26, 1926 in Jewel Ridge, Kentucky, to the late A.W. and Martha (Hammond) Baldwin.
On January 19, 1946 she married Charles Bush at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on
November 2, 2001.
Midge worked for over 31 years at the Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon, Ohio, retiring in 1981.
Her favorite things to do in her spare time, included gardening, planting flowers, reading and playing
bingo at the St. Louis Church festival.
She is survived by daughter, Mishelle (Gary "Spike") Cass, Custar, Ohio; son-in-law, Thomas
Raff, Broomfield, Colorado; five grandchildren, Kendall (Dan) Haas, Erika Cavin (special friend, Rick
Johnson), Brian Bush, Melissa (Mike) Pace, Justin Raff; a great-grandchild, Charleigh Joe Pace; two
brothers, Donnie Baldwin, Oakwood, Ohio, Gary Baldwin, Munhall, Pennsylvania; and very special niece,
Devin Bates.
She was also preceded in death by daughter, Dannea Raff; infant daughter, Mildred Bush; sister, Sonjia
Bates; and brothers, Bobby, Jackie and Nergie Baldwin.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Fr. David Tscherne officiating.
Graveside services will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental, Ohio, and then a fellowship gathering at
Custar American Legion Post #305.
Visitation is 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Bowling Green Manor or American Cancer Society.
