Marvin K. Ricketts, 72, of Findlay passed away at 5:19 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on October 11, 1941, to the late Denton T. and Phyllis (Cook) Ricketts in Hicksville, OH. He
married Patricia L. Stefanka on November 26, 1966, and she survives.
He is also survived by his daughter: Trisha (Michael) Schulz of Lebanon, OH; two grandchildren: Justin M.
and Katelyn E. Schulz; sister: Marilyn (Richard) Schweitzer of Findlay; brother-in-law: John (Helen)
Stefanka of Rawson; and by several nieces and nephews.
Marvin was a 1959 graduate of Findlay High School and a 1963 graduate of Findlay College.
He was a former teacher at various Hancock County schools and last worked at Ball Metal Corp.
He enjoyed traveling extensively with his wife, where his favorite destinations were Alaska and Hawaii.
He enjoyed playing euchre and being with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Marvin was an organ donor.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where
funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Rev. Msgr. Michael Hohenbrink will be
celebrant and burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay.
Memorials may be made to the St. Michael Capital Campaign.
