Kenneth W. Dierksheide, age 76, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Bridge
Hospice, Bowling Green, OH. He was born on August 30, 1937 in Pemberville, OH to Alfred and Clara (Lang)
Dierksheide. On August 13, 1967 he married Mary Ellen Davidson in Scotch Ridge, OH and she survives. Ken
was a life long farmer and a glassmaker for Libbey Owens Ford at the East Toledo and Rossford Plant for
45 years. His memberships included: St. Paul Lutheran Church, New Rochester, OH and the Wood County Farm
Bureau. In his spare time he enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals, watching basketball, taking care of
and spending time with his family. Ken was an avid OSU and Detroit Tigers fan.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 46 years: Mary Ellen, children: Julie Dierksheide of CA, Doug
(Jodi) Dierksheide, Jeff (fiancé: Candice Vargas) Dierksheide, Mike Dierksheide all of Bowling Green,
Sara (Charles) Dierksheide-Iiams of Spencerville, OH, grandchildren: Cooper, Elliot, Adam, brother: Glen
(Linda) Dierksheide of Bowling Green, sisters:
Doris Oberst of Helena, OH, Mary (Larry) Dickens, Oregon, OH, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents: Alfred and Clara Dierksheide.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 2-4 & 5-8 PM from the Marsh
Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday,
March 18, 2014 at 11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Schaefer. Interment will be in Webster Twp.
Cemetery, Scotch Ridge, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at St. Paul Lutheran Church
immediately following the cemetery committal services. Memorial contributions may be directed to: St.
