John Richard "Dick" Hillier, 74, of Wayne, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014.
John was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Howard and Betty (Loomis) Hillier. He married Sandra
Stretchberry on November 13, 1960 and she survives.
Also surviving John are his children: Brad Hillier, Lori Sapp, John and Scott Hillier; seven
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister: Carol Nagel; and brothers: Tom and Gary Hillier.
John retired from Brush Wellman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing,
especially at Sugar Creek Golf Course in Elmore, Ohio and watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
John was a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation for John will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 2 p.m. until the time of John’s
Celebration of Life Service at
4 p.m.
