John Earl Cornelius, 43, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Monday, July
29, 2013 in Bowling Green.He was born on January 25,1970 in Eloise, Michigan to David and Brenda
(Carleton) Cornelius.John was a graduate of Elmwood High School where he received 12 varsity letters in
Football, Wrestling and Track. He went on to play division 1A college football at Akron University.John
was an extrusion line team leader at Cooper Standard Automotive.He enjoyed spending time with his family
and had a passion for motorcycles and his mini dachshund, Rallo.He is survived by his father, David and
stepmother Patrice Cornelius of Davison, Michigan; brother, Gary (Elizabeth) Bishop of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania; sister, Dawn Bishop of Jersey City, New Jersey; aunt, Connie Stringer; nephew, Jordan; an
uncle and a few cousins.He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda.A Celebration of Life Service
will be held on Saturday, August 3,2013 at 10:30 a.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME located in the Historical
District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Rev. John Randall will officiate.The memorial
luncheon to celebrate John’s life will be held at the Mount Zion United Brethren Church at 7841 Bays
Road, Wayne, Ohio 43466 immediately following the service.The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m.
until the time of service on Saturday.Memorial contributions may be given in John’s honor to The Wood
