Emil M. Dean, 80, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio,
Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family
Emil was born in Bradner, Ohio on July 7, 1933 to Willard and Martha (Miller) Dean. On September 11,
1965, he married Dorothy Brown.
Emil was employed with Kuhlman Corporation for 40 years, retiring in 1991. Emil enjoyed working as a
carpenter and cement mason and operated a construction business for over 40 years.
He enjoyed traveling to Tennessee and visiting the local flea markets. His true passion was spending time
with his children and grandchildren.
Emil is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorothy; children, Darell (Karen) Dean, Pamela (Marijo) Sakac,
Rhonda (Mike) Scott, Dwain Brandt, and Darryl (Julie) Dean; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren;
one great-great-grandson; and brother, Elmer (Betty) Dean. Emil is also survived by many nieces,
nephews, and loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Moritz; eight brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville
Road (east of I-280) on Friday, January, 24, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment
will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
