Dennis Paul Reimer, 90, of Bowling Green passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013. He was born
near Custar, Ohio, on June 28, 1923 to John R. and Anna K. (Keating) Reimer. He married Mary Louise Foos on
April 28, 1956 and she survives.Mr. Reimer was a life-long farmer and was also a former bus driver for
Bowling Green City Schools for 20 years.He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a
member of Norcross-Meyers American Legion Post No. 305, Custar, Ohio.He also was a member of St. Louis
Catholic Church in Custar, where he was a Lector, Eucharist Minister and served on church council. Mr.
Reimer attended 4-H Congress in Columbus and then became a 4-H leader. He also was a member of St. Aloysius
Church in Bowling Green and the Knights of Columbus. He was a former board member of the Weston Rural Grain
Board and former Milton Township Trustee.Also surviving are sons: Dennis P. of Vorhees, N.J., John (Pam) of
Whitehouse, OH., Joseph (Lisa) of Holland, OH., Paul (Kelly) of Perrysburg, OH., Rex (Nicki) of Weston, OH.;
daughter: Kathryn (Mark) Bollin of Holland, OH.; Rosanne Kerr of Cygnet. OH.; Colleen (Kevin) Weidner of
Troy, OH.; and Regina Reimer of Hilliard, OH. Also left to mourn his passing are 25 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Reimer, grandson, Logan Kerr, brother, John
Reimer, Jr. four sisters, Evaleen Maas, Eleanore Schon, Zuleen Krebs and Theone Dillon.There will be a Mass
of Christian Burial on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 150 S. Enterprise St. in
Bowling Green. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Custar, Ohio. Family and friends may call on
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in Bowling Green’s Historical
District at 408 W. Wooster St.A Rosary Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Military
Services will be conducted at the cemetery by the Wood County Honor Detail, followed by a Bereavement
Luncheon back at the church in Bowling Green.Memorial contributions may be given to St. Louis Church,
