Daniel I. Losey, age 55, of Stony Ridge, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at
St. Luke’s Hospital Maumee, OH.
He was born on March 31, 1958 in Fremont, OH to Ralph and Shirley (Dierker) Losey Jr. On November 12,
1977 he married Jeanine Anderson in Toledo, OH and she survives.
Dan was a truck driver for the former Alpha Tube, Holland, OH now A.K. Tube, Walbridge, OH, retiring in
2007. He was a volunteer Fireman for Troy Township Volunteer Fire Department from 1990 to 2005.
Dan was a huge OSU fan and enjoyed playing sports, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family
especially his grandchildren.
Dan is survived by his wife: Jeanine of Stony Ridge, OH, children: Eric (Erin) Losey of Stony Ridge, OH,
Jennifer Losey of Toledo, OH, grandchildren: Olivia Newsome, Makai LaBiche and a grandson: baby Losey to
be, siblings: Douglas (Patricia) Losey of Westerville, OH, David Losey of Delaware, OH, Marcia (William)
Lafferty of Lemoyne, OH and Dick (Mary) Losey of Lemoyne, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Marsh
Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH, where there will be a Fire Department service at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. from Salem Grace United
Lutheran Church, Luckey, OH, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Officiating
will be Rev. Jaci Tiell. Interment will be in Troy Twp. Cemetery, Luckey, OH. There will be a
bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services.
