Jim Knott, 64, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at The Toledo Hospital.
He was born March 7, 1950 in Toledo to Charles A. and Anna M. (Tracy) Knott and married Cathy S. (Cain)
Knott on November 10, 1973.
Jim worked for Modine Mfg. for 30 years, retiring in 2004, and in his spare time he enjoyed talking on
his CB radio with the handle "Shaftman."
Jim is survived by his wife, Cathy Knott; daughter, Michelle Knott; granddaughter, Cassandra Flores,
Elizabeth Kay Leonard and Clyde Charles Wheeler; great-grandson, Charles Wheeler; and siblings, Joyce,
Judy, Charlotte, Becky and Tom.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ranae Knott Wheeler; and granddaughter, Connie.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road in Oregon on Monday, April 14,
2014 from 2 to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12 noon in the funeral home with burial at Graham Cemetery in
Wayne, Ohio.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart
