Camille Margaret Chamberlain "Cammi", 45, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 30,
2014.
She was born on May 21, 1969 in Piqua, Ohio to Joe Fisher and the late Sharon Lee Davis. She married Mark
Chamberlain on October 19, 1996 and he survives in Bowling Green.
Cammi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from BGSU in 1991. She then went on to
obtain her Master of Science in Social Work from Eastern Michigan in 2002. She was the director of
Service and Support Administration at the Wood County Board of Development Disabilities having been
employed there since 1991.
Cammi was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green, president of the St. Aloysius School
Parent Association, chair of the Wood County Children’s Cluster, a member of the Wood County Family and
Children First Council, Northwest Ohio Developmental Center Community Advisory Committee and a volunteer
for the Northwest Ohio Honor Flight.
Cammi had the greatest appreciation for and an unending love of life and most important to her were her
family, especially her husband and children.
Cammi loved everything about being a mother. She invited all to share and to be a part of her extended
family. So many were instantly attracted to her unique and limitless humor and her affectionate
personality was the basis of her many friendships.
Cammi was an amazing baker and she was a particularly artistic cake decorator. She created the most
incredible birthday cakes, fulfilling a child’s fantasy.
Cammi’s career at Wood Lane began in college, as she interned in the Case Management Department. She
developed an instant relationship with the individuals she served and their families and she knew at
once that she had found her passion. Over the years, Cammi became the most trusted social worker and
assisted hundreds of families to find the very best services to support their loved ones. She was the
most inspirational leader and nurtured many hearts and careers along the way.
Along with her husband Mark, she is survived by her children Lillian L. and Maxwell, father Joe
(Jeanette) Fisher of Covington, Ohio, stepfather John Davis of Columbus, Ohio, siblings Nicole (Dusty)
Hogston of Piqua, Ohio, John (Josalyn) Davis of Grove City, Ohio, nephews John Davis, Jenner Davis, Cody
Hogston, Elon Hogston, mother-in-law Margaret Chamberlain and sister-in-law Michelle Chamberlain.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon, brother Jerry Darnell and father-in-law Leroy
Chamberlain.
Visitation will be held on Thursday July 3, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in the
Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. A scripture service will begin at 7:45
p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic
Church in Bowling Green, 150 S. Enterprise St. Father Mark Davis will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Following burial there will be a luncheon at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given in Cammi’s honor to the Lillian and Maxwell Chamberlain Scholarship
Fund at Huntington Bank or the St. Aloysius School Fund.
