One woman was taken to Wood County Hospital Saturday following a crash at Brim and Bishop roads, just
outside of the city.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Plain Township site at 10:20 a.m.
According to the crash report, Roy Griffith, Carleton, Mich., was stopped northbound on Brim Road at a
stop sign at the Bishop Road intersection, and then proceeded into the roadway, failing to yield the
right-of-way to Jaime Brown, Grand Rapids, who was westbound on Bishop Road.
Brown was taken to the hospital with possible injuries by Northwest 190 EMS.
Griffith was cited for right-of-way at a stop sign.
