Two indicted for theft from Ohio Job and Family Services

Two men were indicted for grand theft recently by a Wood County grand jury.Brian Anson, 39,
Bowling Green, was indicted on one count of grand theft in an incident taking place between June and
November of 2011.The indictment alleges that Anson deprived the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services
of employment benefits or services through deception.The amount was between $5,000 and $100,000.Edward Bear
Jr., 40, Hoytville, was similarly indicted on one count of grand theft alleging that, between January and
October of 2012, he, by deception, took unemployment benefits from the ODJFS valued at between $5,000 and
$150,000.Also indicted was Colin Czerwiec, 21, Toledo, on a charge of domestic violence.The charge stems
from a December 6 incident in Perrysburg in which he allegedly punched a female in the nose, eye and head
while driving in a vehicle.The indictment notes Czerwiec previously had a domestic violence conviction in
2012 in Perrysburg Municipal Court.Also indicted were:• Melanie Adkins, 49, Toledo: failure to appear as
required by recognizance.• Donald Bear, 36, Belmore: trespass in a habitation.• Zakary Berkel, 20,
Perrysburg: trafficking in a controlled substance analog.• Anthony Bertolina, 34, Toledo, burglary.• Heather
Crawford, 32, Fostoria: theft from an elderly person or disabled adult (two incidents).• Jameika Gayle, 19,
Findlay: harassment with a bodily substance.• Heidi Kimball, 29, Weston: trespass in a habitation,
endangering children.• Christopher Meyers, 21, Perrysburg: burglary.• Robert Ortega Jr., 32, Arlington:
harassment with a bodily substance (two counts).• Alayzia Ponder, 24, Bowling Green: theft.• Tammy Savage,
51, and David Savage, 53, both of Gallion: trafficking in marijuana.• Deante Spruiel, 25, Warren, Mich.:
possession of drugs.Bills of information were handed up for:• Shane Burdete, 24, Mansfield: theft.• Xavier
Carlisle, 22, Toledo: possession of drugs.• Andrew Dewulf, 23, Deshler: receiving stolen property.• Jeremy
Meyer, 30, Bowling Green: possession of drugs.• Justin Mortemore, 28, Toledo: possession of drugs.
