Two arrested after shots fired in BG Waffle House

Two Toledo men have been arrested after shots were fired early Sunday morning in the Waffle House on East
Wooster Street in Bowling Green.
Bowling Green Police Chief Brad Conner said the incident started in the downtown area as the bars were
closing. Shortly before 3 a.m. two groups involved in the fight encountered each other at Waffle House.

One man went out to his vehicle and returned with a handgun. He allegedly fired shots in the restaurant
but no one was struck.
The men then jumped into a car backed out, hitting at least one vehicle.
Bowling Green police pulled the vehicle over north of city on Interstate 75 near the 184 mile marker.
Latwaun Griffin, 23, Toledo, was arrested for felonious assault. Adam Borchardt, 24, Toledo, was arrested
for driving under the influence and improper backing. Three others were also in the car.
Waffle House has turned over video to the police.More charges may be pending.
No firearm was found in the car however police searching this morning found a handgun on the ramp near
I-75 on East Wooster. The handgun was being taken for testing this morning.
