SKYWARN training set for Wednesday

BLOOMDALE – The annual SKYWARN severe weather spotters training for Wood County will be held on March 26
in the village.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the training will take place at the Elmwood Schools Community Center, 7650 Jerry
City Road.
The SKYWARN training is presented by the National Weather Service’s Cleveland office and is sponsored by
the Wood County Emergency Management Agency.
This comprehensive training will explain how to accurately identify and report severe weather occurrences
to the National Weather Service and local officials.
Anyone interested in learning more about severe weather is encouraged to attend the training. The
training is open to the public. Preregistration is not required.
