I-75 work could cause lane restrictions
Widening work on Interstate 75 in Wood County will continue in the overnight hours.
ODOT indicated in a release Thursday that, through July, lane restrictions are possible on I-75 from U.S.
6 to Oil Center Road for pavement repairs.
The work will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
All work is weather permitting and additional restrictions will be announced.
Swingmania performs at BG City Park
Swingmania will perform at Sunday’s Concert in the Park.
The group will offer big band and swing music starting at 7 p.m. at the Needle Hall Stage in City Park.

Four people hurt in crash
BRADNER – Four people were taken to an area hospital after a three-car crash at U.S. 6 and U.S. 23 last
Friday, just northeast of the village.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene at 5:55 p.m.
According to the crash report, A vehicle driven by Mason Myree, Detroit, was in the intersection of
routes 6 and 23 facing westbound on a red light when Bryan Trumbo, Kansas, northbound on U.S. 23, struck
Myree’s vehicle.
The impact caused Myree’s vehicle to strike a vehicle driven by Jamie Rock, Perrysburg, which was facing
eastbound on U.S. 6.
Trumbo and one of his passengers, Ashley Cunningham, Kansas, sustained non-incapacitating injuries. Two
other passengers, Paisley Trumbo and Hunter Cunningham, both of Kansas, reported possible injuries. All
were taken to Fostoria Community Hospital by Bradner EMS.
Myree was cited for right-of-way at an intersection.
