Holiday delays trash collection
The City of Bowling Green offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
As a result, all refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day per the following:
• Regular Monday collection will be collected on Tuesday.
• Regular Tuesday collection will be collected on Wednesday.
• Regular Wednesday collection will be collected on Thursday.
• Regular Thursday collection will be collected on Friday.
Additionally, municipal court, county offices and the post office also will be closed.
Walbridge pool opens Monday
WALBRIDGE – The Aqua Terrace pool will open for the season on Monday.
The gate fee is $3 and seasonal memberships are $30 per person.
The pool is open through Labor Day, noon to 8 p.m., weather permitting.
County Legion meets Tuesday
PEMBERVILLE – Wood County Council American Legion will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Pemberville American
Legion Post.
All legion members are invited and encouraged to attend.
Tontogany Fest committee meets Tuesday
TONTOGANY – There will be a meeting for the Tontogany Festival Committee Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Doc’s.
Anyone interested in helping can attend.

The committee will list specific and general information about the festival on Facebook and its website.
The festival is Aug. 8-10.
Road work
affects Rt. 6
Effective Tuesday eastbound U.S. 6 between Rudolph Road and I-75 will be reduced to one lane for bridge
deck repair.
All work is weather permitting.
