Warrant served on Perrysburg tobacco venture
PERRYSBURG – Multiple state and local agencies converged this morning on a wholesale tobacco business in
the city.
According to Jill Del Greco, spokesperson for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, a warrant was served on
Glow Industries, 12962 Eckel Junction Road, at 8 a.m. this morning by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal
Investigation. They were assisted by Perrysburg Police, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Drug
Enforcement Agency, the Ohio Pharmacy Board, and the Wood County Prosecutor’s Office.
As of 9:15 a.m. there had been no arrests made. Del Greco said the investigation had been ongoing for
several months.
In a web search, Glow Industries noted that they sell "strictly at the wholesale level. We are not
open to the general public."
However, their website appeared to be down.
Ambulance district resets meeting date
Northwest Wood Ambulance District monthly meeting set for today has been postponed until March 18 at 6:30
p.m. due to work schedule of one of the trustees.
BG board cancels meeting
The Wednesday Bowling Green Zoning Board of Appeals meeting has been cancelled.
NB thrift store reopens
NORTH BALTIMORE – The St. Vincent dePaul Thrift Store in the village will reopen Wednesday for regular
hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store is also open Thursdays and Fridays the same hours.
There will be a half-price sale on clothing only this week.
HOPE meeting postponed
The monthly meeting of the HOPE support group, set for Wednesday, has been postponed and will be
rescheduled to another date.
