Bob Evans helps firefighters’ families
Bob Evans Restaurant in Perrysburg will be holding a fundraiser for Toledo firefighters Private Stephen
Machcinski and Private James Dickman, who were killed in the line of duty. The fundraiser is planned
Thursday and Friday from open to close.
The fundraiser also will be at all Bob Evans in Toledo, Maumee, Holland and Oregon.
Bob Evans will donate 15 percent of guest checks dining in or ordering carryout for the fundraiser to the
firefighter’s families. Mention it to the cashier and your check will be part of the donation.
Film shows ‘Inequality for All’
"Inequality for All" features Robert Reich, professor, best-selling author, and Clinton cabinet
member, and will be discussed Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Owens Community College AVCC room 125.
Reiche demonstrates how the widening income gap has a devastating impact on the American economy and uses
humor and a wide array of facts to explain how the issue of economic inequality affects each and every
one of us. The film premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize for
Achievement in Filmmaking.
This event is free and open to the public.
BGMS bands in concert
The Bowling Green Middle School seventh and eighth grade bands will be performing a winter concert on
Thursday at 7 p.m. in the BG Performing Arts Center.
The bands are conducted by Bruce Corrigan and Jeremy Sison.
Due to the many school closings, the sixth grade band will not be performing on this concert.
Three dogs available for adoption
Three dogs are available for adoption at the Wood County Dog Shelter on County Home Road.
• Female red and white pit bull terrier mix, which was surrendered from the Perrysburg Kennel Feb. 11.

• Neutered black, white and tan shepherd mix, found Poe and Fairview Feb. 3.
• Male black and white pit bull terrier mix, found Mermill Road, Jan. 12.
