Health care help offered
Area residents know they have to sign up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by
March 31. Because the ACA offers a large number of plan options, people trying to navigate through the
plans are struggling. Those seeking to enroll by themselves through www.healthcare.gov are finding the
process quite confusing.
Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) is providing helpful, trained navigators to make sense of the
Affordable Care Act plans and subsidies.
While the guidance is free, an appointment is required. Call (419) 352-8402 ext. 3275 for an appointment
at the Wood County Health Department, 1840 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green.
