Managing Holiday Anxiety and Depression will be the topic for Monday’s meeting of the Panic and Anxiety Disorder Support Group.
The group meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Medical Building of Wood County Hospital, 970 W. Wooster St.
Refreshments are provided and there is no fee for the group.

VFW Post 1148 will host karaoke tonight from 8 to midnight.

WALBRIDGE – There was one shocking statistic in the monthly village police report.
Under “fatal shootings” for November, there was the number two.
Police Chief Kenneth Frost said there is no suspicion of foul play in the deaths of the two women, who died two weeks apart from gunshot wounds. They did not know each other, and lived across town from one another.
Frost, though, is not releasing the official cause of death for either women until the coroners’ reports are completed.

Home Depot will host a kids’ workshop Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the business on South Main Street in Bowling Green.
A series of break-ins was reported in Wood County on Wednesday.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was notified of three breaking and entering incidents at businesses in the 24000 block of Front Street in Grand Rapids. In at least two of those incidents the unknown subject did not enter the building.
Another attempted break-in was reported in the 19000 block of East Church Street in Hoytville.
An additional break-in, which included vandalism to the residence, was reported in the 9000 block of Custar Road, Custar.
