Man hurt when car hits footA city man sustained possible injuries after his foot was run over by a
backing vehicle Monday.Bowling Green Police report that at 3:45 p.m. Curtis Hock, Bowling Green, was walking
on a sidewalk leading to a parking lot at 275 S. Main St. when a white vehicle reportedly operated by a
female driver backed out of a parking spot and into the sidewalk, driving over Hock’s right foot.The driver
then drove off.Hock was not transported to a hospital.Members added to Perrysburg cemetery boardPERRYSBURG –
One term was renewed and another member appointed to the city and township board that jointly oversees Fort
Meigs Union Cemetery.The group consisting of city council members and Perrysburg Township trustees extended
the term of Bob Warnimont, the township’s recreation director, for an additional three years.Separately,
city council during its own meeting appointed Tom Mackin as a new representative to the board. Council
president Joe Lawless previously served on the board but was not re-elected to a fourth city council term in
November.Subdivision plat approvedWood County Planning Commission approved a final plat for a small addition
to a subdivision in Perrysburg Township on Tuesday.Consisting of four single-family lots on about 1.5 acres,
it is the fifth phase of the Woodmont – Market Centre subdivision, located in the northwest corner.
Improvements will include an extension of Basswood Drive with 60 feet of right of way and 25 feet of paving,
with sidewalks and all utilities.After the meeting, the group conducted an open house to recognize Richard
Kohring, who will retire after 26 years on the commission. Planning Commission Director Dave Steiner said
members will appoint a new member from a list of interested people, likely sometime early in 2014.Weston
