Meth lab bust in LuckeyLUCKEY – Evidence of the manufacture of Methamphetamine was found following
the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the village on Monday.The Special Response Team of the
Wood County Sheriff’s Office conducted the warrant around 4:50 p.m. at a home in the 200 block of Adams
Street.They were assisted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Luckey
Police Department.The search warrant was part of an ongoing meth production investigation at the residence.
Lt. Jamie Webb of the sheriff’s office indicated that the investigation had been ongoing for approximately
two months.The residence was not occupied at the time of the search.Crash may have involved hearseLIME CITY
– Minor injuries were initially reported in a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday that reportedly involved a
hearse.The crash was reported at U.S. 20 and Lime City Road at approximately 12:40 p.m. Three ambulances had
responded to the scene by 1 p.m., and three vehicles were reportedly involved.An Ohio State Patrol
dispatcher indicated that a hearse was believed to be involved in the crash. It was not yet known if the
hearse had been part of a funeral procession.A crash report on the incident was not available this
