Accounts set up for storm victimsBenefit accounts for two families displaced by Sunday’s
tornado in Jerry City have been set up at area banks.A duplex occupied by Josh and Carol Hopple, Terri
Lynn Woodard and her 5-year-old daughter, Naelynn Lee, was heavily damaged during the storm, losing its
roof and most of the exterior walls.Those interested in donating to the families may do so at Woodforest
National Bank for the Hopples, and at Huntington Bank for Woodard and Lee.Suspects sought in Wed.
theftNORTHWOOD – Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying two individuals involved in a
theft from a store on Wednesday.The incident occurred at the Sears store, 3725 Williston Road, around 4
p.m.The suspects arrived in a light-colored 1990s Ford F-150 pickup truck. They reportedly broke into a
locked display case and stole an XBox 360 video game system, an XBox 360 Kinect and several video
games.The first suspect is described as a male in his mid-20s, with short hair, wearing glasses. The
second suspect is described as a male in his teens with short hair, also wearing glasses.Those with
information as to the identity of those individuals is asked to contact Sgt. Doug Hubaker at
419-691-5053 or the Wood County Crimestoppers at 419-352-0077.Boy approached by man in truckPERRYSBURG –
City police are looking into the report of a boy who was approached by a man in a neighborhood
Wednesday.A 10-year-old city boy was reportedly approached by an unknown male driving a black sport
utility vehicle or a pickup truck with a cap around 4:10 p.m. The incident occurred in the Brookhaven
subdivision.The driver reportedly offered to give the boy a ride home, which the boy declined. After the
driver asked a second time for the boy to get into the vehicle, the boy ran home. The vehicle then left
the area. No other information on the male or the vehicle was provided.Those with information related to
