BG BOE meets Monday morning
The rescheduled Bowling Green Board of Education organizational meeting will be held on Monday at 8:30 a.m.
The previously announced Jan. 6 meeting was postponed due to the Level 3 snow emergency.
The meeting will be held at the Administrative Office, 137 Clough St.
BG City Council to meet Monday
Bowling Green City Council will meet Monday at 7 p.m., having rescheduled the meeting due to weather.
Six of seven members will take the oath of office to start new terms and council will elect a president and president pro tem before tackling the agenda.
BG BPU cancels
Bowling Green’s Board of Public Utilities has canceled its meeting scheduled for Monday due to a lack of official business.
The next scheduled meeting is Jan. 27 at 5 p.m.
Panic/Anxiety group Monday
Managing Worry Thoughts and Rumination will be the topic for Monday’s January meeting of the Panic and Anxiety Disorder Support Group.
The group meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Medical Building at Wood County Hospital, 970 W. Wooster St.
Refreshments will be provided. There is no fee for the group.

Liberty trustees meet Wednesday
RUDOLPH — The Liberty Township Trustees reorganizational meeting will be held Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at the township hall in Rudolph.
Perrysburg Twp. crime statistics
LIME CITY – Perrysburg Township police seized hundreds of grams of pot and mushrooms to end 2013.
According to statistics released by the police department on their website, in December officers seized more than 237 grams of marijuana and nearly 15 grams of mushrooms, as well as drug abuse instruments and a small number of prescriptions pills.
All told, Perrysburg Township Police officers issued 83 citations and responded to a total of 1,082 calls, driving nearly 23,500 miles in December.
