Habitat Night, a community building event to increase awareness and volunteer support for 2014 housing
and economic development projects within Wood County, will be held Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist
Church, 200 N. Summit St., Bowling Green.
The event, which will run from 5 to 7 p.m., is open to the public. It is being sponsored by Habitat for
Humanity of Wood County, with the assistance of the Pita Pit in Bowling Green. Pita Pit is the lead
sponsor for this first Habitat Night.
Habitat Night is an occasion when all volunteers meet on the same night in the same location with
activities based on annual plans and goals, plus progress toward those goals. The focus will be the 2014
build season, aiming to house and support local working families.
Light snacks and water will be provided. The first 50 guests at Habitat Night will receive free pita,
made fresh onsite by Pita Pit.
To sign up for the event, contact Jennifer Kephart at [email protected] or call 419-353-5430
