Fire destroyed a barn in the 16000 block of Kellogg Road Friday.The Washington Township Fire
Department was called to the blaze shortly after 7:40 p.m. and summoned assistance from Weston, Middleton
Township and Central Joint departments, as well as Northwest Ohio EMS Consortium.Washington Township Fire
Chief Todd Buehrer said the barn was a total loss. The cows and other animals in the barn are all believed
to be safe.The structure also contained construction equipment.Firefighters remained on the scene until
about 2 this morning.
