FedEx representatives revealed expansion plans for its Perrysburg Township plant to the Zoning Committee
on Monday.
The expansion mostly covers parking and loading areas and was planned when the facility was built in
2007.
Monday’s discussions were informal, with a plan review scheduled for next month.
"A large part of the expansion is the continuation of what was planned future expansion in the
previous submissions," said Michael Brand of Mannik & Smith Group, a FedEx consultant.
The plan calls for a 62,000 square-feet addition to the distribution center. Additional jobs may come
with the expansion, but that information was not discussed Monday.
