Suzanne Wagner is a billing manager and assistant office manager at Wood County Medical Associates Suite
130 in the Wood County Hospital Medical Building. She started out as a front office receptionist, later
working her way into the back office where she worked with doctors and schedules, eventually overseeing
the billing office in addition to assisting the practice manager. Wagner, who has worked in the office
for 28 years, is retiring at the end of January. “It’s sort of a mixed feeling. It’s bittersweet. There
is a security of coming in and seeing the same faces every day and getting to share our lives with one
another,” she said.
Wagner looks forward to retirement and anticipates that she will stay active with reading and exercising
outdoors; in addition to volunteering at her church, traveling and spending time with family. She and
her husband, Dan, have been married for 46 years with three children, Michelle, Heath and Kristina, and
eight grandchildren.
