Familiar Face: Paul Walters

0

Paul Walters has lived in Montgomery Township
his entire life. He jokes that he “took a vacation to Korea once” — when asked about his time in the Army.
Walters is a Korean War veteran, who was stationed there from April 1952 until October 1953. He has been
married to his wife Laura for 59 years. They have four children, 10 grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren. Walters has been a Montgomery Township trustee for the past 24 years and is retiring
from his position. He looks forward to continuing his service to the community through his participation in
the Wood County Honor Detail and plans to spend his extra time fishing.(Photo: Shane
