Ed Jacobs, a sanitary engineer for Lucas
County who is well-known locally as a volunteer for Otsego High School where he is in charge of all
football, basketball and spring concessions, is this week’s familiar face. He is vice president of the
Otsego Athletic Boosters. Jacobs has been married to his wife, Lisa, also an Otsego volunteer and
president of the Otsego Music Boosters, for 19 years. They both have served nine years as volunteers and
are parents to 15-year-old twins Austin and Alissa, who are students at Otsego High School. The family
