Women in public service topic for Tuesday panel at Way
PERRYSBURG – A panel of local experts will conduct a discussion on "Women Engaged in Public
Service" on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Way Public Library.
The event is being hosted in cooperation with the League of Women Voters of the Perrysburg Area.
Panel participants will be Dr. Shannon Orr from Bowling Green State University; Doris Herringshaw, Wood
County commissioner; Jill Engle, Wood County treasurer; and Sara Weisenburger, Perrysburg City Council.

This is a free event and registration is not required.
Lupus Pajama Jam now March 15
PERRYSBURG – The Ohio chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America will hold its Pajama Jam next Saturday
at the Holiday Inn French Quarter on Fremont Pike.
On-site registration begins at 4:30 p.m. and the event starts at 5. The registration fee is $50, with a
fundraising goal of helping to cover more programs in this area in the future.
The jam is a night to have fun and relax with friends, while in your pajamas. Jewelry, make-up and purse
vendors will be in attendance from Origami Owl, Beauty Control and Thirty-one. They will be presenting
nail, skin and hair beauty tips.
There will also be a silent auction, dinner, a motivational speaker, Pajama Parade, gift bags, and a
Let’s Talk Pillow Talk for everyone present to be able to share their story.
The event has been rescheduled from an earlier planned date due to inclement weather. For more
