NORTH BALTIMORE – Childhood is a time of discovery for both children and their parents. Children don’t
come with a "how to" handbook, and every age brings its unique challenges. To help parents
make the most of this special time, the Children’s Resource Center of Wood County will offer its
Incredible Years class at Powell Elementary, 500 N. Main, North Baltimore.
The first session will be Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
This free twelve-week parenting skills program is designed for families of children ages 6 through 12.
Limited on-site child care and a light meal are provided.
For more information, call Kristin Nagel at 419-352-7588 or (toll-free) 888-466-KIDS (5437.)
The Incredible Years series emphasizes positive parenting skills. It offers strategies for managing
children’s behavior and helping them succeed in school. The class allows parents to share experiences
with each other, building a support network that lasts after the class is finished. Participants receive
a completion certificate upon finishing all twelve sessions.
The Incredible Years class is offered several times each year in various locations around Wood County.
