The fourth annual Ohio Bead Shop Hop will be held May 1-3 at Coyote Beads & Jewelry in Bowling Green, JuJu Beads in Findlay, Bonita Bead Boutique in Maumee, and the Bead Attic in Toledo.
During the course of the Shop Hop each shop will have its own bead project featured. There will be make-takes, kits, and bead demos, or patterns.
Coyote Beads will feature "Flower Power," Bead Attic will offer a lattice bracelet, Bonita a sunburst necklace, and Juju will have "Grandly Edith" earrings. For more details visit www.ohiobeadshophop.com
Each of the stores will also offers visitors their own promotions or special offerings, unique for this event.
The four shops involved see the three-day event as "a way of coming together, sharing the depth of beading and the creativity it gives - while also giving back to the community," noted Ann Tristan of Bonita Bead Boutique.
This year the shops and visitors taking part in the hop will be donating beads to the Zepf Center, a non-profit organization that provides behavioral health and vocational services to youth and adults.
