Thomas and Barbara (Sexton) Strickland,
Cygnet, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the
Wayne United Methodist Church.It is being hosted by their three sons, Tom Jr., Risingsun; Rob,
Elizabethtown, Ky.; and Brian, Cygnet. There are seven grandchildren, Andrew, Brad, Megan, Justin, Collin,
Trenton and Devin; and one great-granddaughter.The Stricklands were married Jan. 4, 1964 at the same
church.Tom Strickland retired as superintendent of Village of Cygnet Utilities and from Autolite, Fostoria.
Barbara Strickland is retired from Whirlpool, Findlay.They ask that gifts be omitted.
