Terra offers course in pre-licensure real estate

FREMONT – This fall the Ohio Institute for Real Estate Studies will be offering pre-licensure real
estate courses at Terra State Community College. The college has offered real estate classes in the past and
this is a new collaboration.The Ohio Institute for Real Estate Studies is the oldest real estate
pre-licensing school in Ohio. They have helped launch many successful careers as real estate sales agents,
brokers, appraisers, trainers, managers, and personal assistants. Their team of certified instructors uses a
variety of teaching methods to help students understand course content and the professional needs of the
real estate industry, leading to outstanding success. Through the partnership with Terra State, they will
offer these non-credit classes preparing students to begin their careers in the real estate
industry."We are very excited to begin this collaboration with the Ohio Institute for Real Estate
Studies," said Michael Shirtz, dean of Business and Creative Arts at Terra State. "As we see a
renewed interest in real estate in our region it’s important that we provide the necessary training to
support that workforce."The real estate classes will be taught on campus beginning this fall by the
