FREMONT - This fall the Ohio Institute for Real Estate Studies will be offering pre-licensure real estate courses at Terra State Community College. The college has offered real estate classes in the past and this is a new collaboration.
The Ohio Institute for Real Estate Studies is the oldest real estate pre-licensing school in Ohio. They have helped launch many successful careers as real estate sales agents, brokers, appraisers, trainers, managers, and personal assistants. Their team of certified instructors uses a variety of teaching methods to help students understand course content and the professional needs of the real estate industry, leading to outstanding success. Through the partnership with Terra State, they will offer these non-credit classes preparing students to begin their careers in the real estate industry.
"We are very excited to begin this collaboration with the Ohio Institute for Real Estate Studies," said Michael Shirtz, dean of Business and Creative Arts at Terra State. "As we see a renewed interest in real estate in our region it's important that we provide the necessary training to support that workforce."
The real estate classes will be taught on campus beginning this fall by the OIRES.
To learn more about registration and tuition for the courses, or for information about enrolling in Terra State's associate degree in marketing with an emphasis in real estate, contact the division of business and creative arts at (419) 559-2233.
