Perrysburg scored four times in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie and the Yellow Jacket
baseball team held on for a 5-3 win Friday over Bowling Green in a Northern Lakes League game.
The Yellow Jackets, ranked sixth in Division I, are 15-4 overall and 6-3 in the NLL. BG is 11-10, 2-8.

Trevor Hafner led off the Perrysburg fifth with a single and took second on an infield out.
AJ Stockwell singled Hafner to third. Hafner then scored on Gus Dimmerling’s single to give Perrysburg a
2-1 lead.
Zack Zam’s pinch-hit three-run double with two out increased the lead to 5-1. The hit came after Zam
fouled off two pitches with a 3-2 count.
Perrysburg’s other leading hitters were Nick Fleming, 2-for-4; and Dimmerling, 2-for-3, run, two RBI.
BG’s leading hitters were: Jeremy Chambers, 2-for-4, double, two runs; and Mason Apple, 2-for-3, double.

Lake 7, Fostoria 2
In Millbury, Jayce Vancena was 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI as Lake ran its record to 19-2 overall
and 9-0 in the NBC. Fostoria is 13-4, 3-6.
Vancena also pitched a three-hitter.
Also for the Flyers, Conner Bowen was 2-for-3 with two RBI, and Brad Ackerman was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Eastwood 10, Otsego 0

In Luckey, Mat Drown pitched a three-hitter and was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBI as Eastwood won an
NBC game.
Otsego’s Jon Brown singled and doubled.

In Luckey, Mackenzie Albright and Morgan Getz hit home runs as Eastwood improved to 20-1 overall and 8-1
in the NBC.
Eastwood’s leading hitters were: Albright, Krista Jennings, both 2-for-3; and Cassidy Rolf, 2-for-4.
Otsego’s Savannah Schwind singled twice and Aubrey Mazey doubled.
Elmwood 9, Rossford 0
In Jerry City, Kristi Reiser was 3-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBI as Elmwood moved to 15-3
overall and 7-1 in the NBC.
Reiser also scored twice.
Elmwood’s other leading hitters were: Olivia Myers, double, 3-for-4, two runs, three RBI; Rebecca Harvey,
2-for-4, double, one run, two RBI; and Jayna Kenard, double.
Elmwood’s Miranda Benschoter pitched a three hitter, striking out seven and walking one,
Three different players singled for Rossford (16-6, 7-4).
Lake’s Behlmer
pitches no-hitter
In Millbury, Sydnee Behlmer pitched a no-hitter to help Lake to a 5-1 win over Fostoria in an NBC game.

She struck out 11, walked none and hit a batter as Lake improved to 9-13, 4-6.
Allie Kontak was 2-for-4 for Lake, while Peyton Marchetto had a triple and an RBI.

In Kansas, Lakota built a 5-0 lead en route to a nonleague win.
Bree Long-Meyer was 3-for-4 with two runs and a double for Lakota, while Aubrey Bickford was 2-for-3 with
a double, two runs and two RBI.
Nikkia Cooper and Morgan Gangwer combined on a six-hitter. Cooper struck out six.
